A key aspect of the visual identity for the Marlborough Vineyard Trail is a strong signature colour palette for optimal visibility, easily recognised by users of the trail to lead them from one point to the next. Clarity, simplicity and contrast were carefully considered through the design process for directional, instructional and also safety purposes. The brand mark mixes together grapes, a cyclist, and subtle silhouettes of the letters M and V from the trail name.
